Description

We are seeking an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proven track record in designing piping systems for various industrial applications. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while working alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and design piping systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
Perform stress analysis and ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping design with other engineering disciplines.
Create and review piping layout and isometric drawings using CAD software.
Conduct field surveys and site inspections to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project plans as required.
Support procurement activities by providing technical input on materials and equipment.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to quality control processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

8-10 years of experience in piping design within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power industries.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar) for piping design.

Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and standards.

Experience with stress analysis tools (CAESAR II, ANSYS, etc.).

Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
