Description
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of our projects, ensuring the smooth running of operations. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of mechanical technicians and fitters
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities for equipment and machinery
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor and control costs associated with mechanical operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems as they arise
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Train and mentor junior staff members
