Job descriptionDiploma (Chemical), Bachelor of Technology / Engineering (Chemical). Any Minimum 3–5 years in wastewater treatment operations or a related industry Strong technical understanding of wastewater treatment processes Capable of independent operation and problem-solving Good command of record keeping and compliance documentation Effective team collaboration and coordination skills Customer orientation and results-driven mindset Strong analytical thinking and process orientation Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage tasks systematically
Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To :
- Operate and manage the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure compliance with governmental environmental standards.
- Monitor and control the treatment process and system operations.
- Ensure treated water discharge and effluent tankers are compliant with Ministry regulations.
- Manage calibration of equipment and consumable supplies.
- Maintain all checklists, reports, and documentation in accordance with internal SOPs.
- Coordinate and support the daily operations of Effluent Treatment Operators.
- Ensure shutdown activities are well-planned and completed on time.
- Optimize ETP processes and work towards cost-efficient operations.
- Assist and train staff, ensure continuous improvements.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Lean practices of KDD and comply with Kuwait state regulations.
- Execute additional duties assigned by the line manager.
