Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Foreman (Materials) to manage our materials team and oversee all aspects of material handling and management on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in materials management, ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the materials team on-site.
Ensure timely delivery and proper management of materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of materials inventory, usage, and orders.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material procurement.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Train and supervise junior staff and laborers in material handling and safety practices.
Conduct regular inspections of materials to ensure quality standards are met.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

5-10 years of experience in materials management or construction supervision.

Strong knowledge of construction materials and their applications.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
