Job description
Preparation of internal Value Reports monthly. Preparation of Valuations / Applications monthly with full supporting documentations in an efficient and timely manner.
Preparation of Cost Report to the Clients monthly, or as when requested, with full supporting documentations.
Procurement, evaluating, adjudicating, tender reporting and making tender recommendations.
Monitoring, evaluating, making recommendation and preparation of payments certificates through to agreements / contracts final accounts.
Preparing and participating in negotiation of final account settlements.
Production and rigorous management of Early Warning Notices.
Review, negotiation and make recommendation on Compensation Events / Variations and extension of time claims.
Attending & participating in meetings focusing on cost reporting and provide advice as required.
Preparing preliminary & detailed budget estimates, cost plans, cost checks and cash flow projections.
Tender reconciliations and earned value reports
Allocations of costs against subcontractors bids and materials schedules
Preparation of forensic planning to determine entitlement to Extension of Time and Loss and Expense, delay analysis
Prepetition of Change Requests, Site Instruction & Variation Orders
Liaison with Clients, Consultants and Contractors on contractual & commercial matters
Experience as a quantity surveyor from the project initiation to close out phases on large building projects.
Strong understanding of contract conditions and contract stakeholders obligations and responsibilities.
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral English communication, with excellent capability in technical report writing.
Well knowledge / experience with MPW (Ministry of Public Works) of Kuwaits Conditions of Contract.
