Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards
- Create and develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Skills and Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in a professional kitchenCulinary degree or relevant certificationStrong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresAbility to manage multiple tasks and work under pressureExcellent communication and leadership skillsCreativity and a passion for foodUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene regulationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMinimum 5 years of proven experience in the relevant category or cuisine
