Project Manager - Mechanical

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager Mechanical to oversee mechanical engineering projects within the FMCG and manufacturing industries. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical projects, from initial planning to execution, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are met. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, leadership skills, and extensive experience managing large-scale projects in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Planning & Coordination : Lead the planning, execution, and closure of mechanical projects. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project flow from start to finish.
• Team Leadership : Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors. Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure all team members are aligned with project objectives and work efficiently.
• Budget Management : Develop, monitor, and control project budgets. Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget, identifying and addressing any financial issues or discrepancies early on.
• Project Scheduling : Create detailed project schedules, setting milestones and deliverables. Monitor progress against the schedule, ensuring any delays are managed and minimized.
• Procurement & Resource Management : Oversee the procurement of mechanical components, materials, and services. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of resources within project requirements.
• Design & Technical Oversight : Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that mechanical designs and specifications align with project requirements. Oversee the technical execution and ensure that all work is carried out to the highest engineering standards.
• Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to mechanical aspects of the project. Develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of any unforeseen challenges.
