Amentum is now hiring an Engineering Analyst (Senior) position in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS) at locations both CONUS and OCONUS. This project will provide PM FPS and PM GS a multitude of product support activities to include spares, warehousing / kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field support representatives (FSRs), systems sustainment and design engineering, and supplier or total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS).

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Analyze and assess engineering metrics to provide data driven guidance on decisions concerning engineering initiatives.

Recommend and propose improvements in engineering project / operation based on findings from analysis.

Develop and generate reports, creates visualizations, and utilize forecasting models to convey findings to relevant stakeholders in the engineering department.

Pinpoint potential sources of data sourced from engineering projects.

Develop connections to new data sources and efficiently ingest data into current pipeline frameworks.

May assist in monitoring project progress to ensure that project milestones are being met in accordance with established schedules

May analyze technical components to anomalies in project analysis

May collaborate with engineers and program managers to establish project milestones and requirements for project success.

Coordinate with various individuals such as program and project leaders to analyze system and / or product architecture, design, coding, and performance from prior experience.

Able to identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues, and conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.

Has demonstrable skills in resolve problems as related to their field.

Required Qualifications :

Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.

Must have a minimum of 8 years supporting complex system engineering challenges in a variety of capacities including software engineering, cyber security, change management, configuration management, and integration. Will accept 2 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note : US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.
