Electrical Procurement Engineer (I & C)

Job Description

• Source electrical equipment including emergency diesel generators, MV / LV transformers, MV switchgear and modifications woks, package substations, UPS systems, explosion-proof distribution boards, lighting fixtures, poles, local control stations, MOV isolating switches, HV / LV power / control cables, cable glands, earthing materials, and cable trays.
• Procure instrumentation / telecom equipment including control systems (PCS, ESD, FGS), telecom systems, motor-operated valves, ESD valves, pressure / temperature / level transmitters, Coriolis flowmeters, gauges, F&G devices, auto sampling systems, I&C cables, fiber optic cables, junction boxes, cable trays, glands, and tubes / fittings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards.
• Ensure compliance with instrumentation / telecom standards.
• Negotiate with suppliers the cost-effective electrical equipment.
• Negotiate with suppliers the cost-effective instrumentation / telecom / F&G equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for material compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for material compliance.
• Close coordination with Post order team (Expediting Team) for Vendor deliverables
• Close coordination with Post order team (Expediting Team) for Vendor deliverables.
• Negotiate with suppliers for high-precision equipment.

Qualifications

BSc in Electrical   Instrumentation, or Telecom Engineering .

Preference for graduates from recognized accredited universities or institutions in automation / control programs
