Audiovisual / Video Teleconferencing (AV / VTC) Systems Technician - Kuwait (Secret Clearance Required)

Our work depends on Audiovisual / Video Teleconferencing (AV / VTC) Systems Technician joining our team to maintain an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software

HOW AN AUDIOVISUAL / VIDEO TELECONFERENCING (AV / VTC) SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN - KUWAIT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Ensures workstation / server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education : Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

Required Experience : 3+ years of related experience

Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance.

Required Experience : 3-5 years of directly related experience supporting VTC operations or in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.)

Demonstrated experience in operation and configuration of audio-visual and telepresence systems.

Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver's license.

Location : On Customer Site

Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex VTC problems.

Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
