Rigger

Responsibilities

• Set up rigging equipment for hoisting and positioning loads safely and efficiently.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to plan and execute lifting operations.
• Maintain and repair rigging equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during rigging operations.
• Document and report any issues or incidents that occur during rigging operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a rigger, with 3-10 years in a construction or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment, including hoists, pulleys, and chains.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and safety documentation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards related to rigging operations.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks and work in various environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
