Location : Kuwait

Job Description / Responsibilities :

1- Carries out all required cementing field calculations, Acidization job calculations and for other pumping jobs.

2- Coordinates and communicates with crew / staff members for day-to-day operations ensuring to carry out safe operations at all times.

3- Plans and carries out necessary tools and spares inspection at the Field to ensure uninterrupted Field job.

4- Performs trouble shooting of cementing unit malfunctioning.

5- Performs dressing and repacking of all the reciprocating and centrifugal pumps on the cementing units.

6- Performs running and mixing cement slurries on the fly by using jet mixing and re-circulating system.

7- Performs running, mixing and pumping ultra light cement slurries and heavy weight slurries as per the job program.

8- Performs mixing and pumping of cement slurries through automatic density control system.

9- Monitors real-time all job operations through the unit.

10- Carries out cement squeeze job through hesitation technique by balancing cement plug, and through cement retainers.

11- Carries out Step-Rate Test combining 2 or 3 pumping units.

12- Loads and Pumps Nitrogen through Nitrogen Pumping Unit.

13- Develops effective contact and marketing skills to sell and achieve more jobs on interacting with Company Man at the Field.

14- Discusses and recommends alternative solutions for critical jobs in Pre and Post-Job discussion with client.

15- Carries out pre and post job check list for all the equipment used on job.

16- Handles Blow-out on Well and pumping to Kill such a Well.

17- Works efficiently with limited resources at times.

18- Executes one job and at the same time coordinating for another job.

19- Carries out field job with H2S presence in Well.

Education / Qualifications :

3 years Diploma in chemical, mechanical or electrical, preference will be given to candidates having Engineering degree.

5-7 years field experience in cementing jobs at supervisor level with proven track record of solving complex cementing jobs.
