Exterior Designer Responsibilities & Duties:

• Leading and participating in the design process from conception to completion.
• Collaborating with project teams to develop creative solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
• Creating 2D and 3D design presentations, detail drawings, including sketches, renderings, and computer-generated images.
• Conducting research to stay current with the latest design trends and technologies.
• Communicating design ideas and details effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

Exterior Designer Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in design software.
• Experience with sustainable design practices.
• Strong portfolio showcasing exterior design projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
• 5+ years of experience in the design industry, with a focus on exterior design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
