• Job Description
• Supervises the Equipment function within assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). Leads subordinate Foreman and teams of Equipment Operators who operate several types of power construction equipment, such as compressors, pumps, hoists, derricks, cranes, shovels, tractors, scrapers, or motor graders, to excavate, move, and grade soil, erect structural and reinforcing steel, and pour concrete or other hard surface paving materials. Allocates equipment and personnel based upon project priorities. Communicates effectively with client, project personnel and team members. Coordinates proper maintenance and repair of assigned equipment. Ensures safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements at all times. Completes all necessary administrative requirements and performs duties of subordinate personnel as required. Other duties as assigned.
• Basic Job Requirements
• High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and six (6) years to nine (9) years related experience.
• Other Job Requirements
• Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
