The Account Manager is mainly responsible for establishing and maintaining Vendor account plans to promote sales growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Building strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels.
- Actively playing a part in ensuring financial targets are reached.
- Quickly responding via emails to retailer queries and commercial quotations.
- Updating customer DB and pipeline.
- Regularly updating the Sales Manager for the managed territories or accounts.
- Achieving assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
- Meeting assigned expectations for profitability.
- Aligning with vendor for discounts and commercials.
- Ensuring collection on payments of due invoices.
- Ensuring that the breadth target for the company is met.
- Maintaining the profitability of the products sold.
- Continuously assessing customer business requirements, maintaining, and educating stakeholders on product’s value proposition and best-in-class products.0
