Basic Function

Control and implement KIPIC HSE Procedures & Guidelines and other Regulations,

carry-out Safety inspections to identify unsafe condition or act, conduct training,

impart on-site Safety Advice and conduct 5 minutes on HSE Toolbox Talk.

3.1.2. Work Performed :

3.1.2.1. Responsible for responding to any oil spill incident including the training, exercises, and drills

3.1.2.2. Conduct risk analysis studies and identify appropriate measures to issues relating to oil spill preparedness, response, and coordination Monitor work permit system, check work in progress and work permits to ensure proper filling up and closing of permits, when required.

3.1.3. Minimum Qualification & Experience

3.1.3.1. Diploma holder / BSc in Mechanical, Environmental or Maritime disciplines (i.e., 3-year College Course graduate)

3.1.3.2. Must be able to speak, read and write English well.

3.1.3.3. Have adequate training / experience to co-ordinate and train personnel on first aid and use of personal protective equipment such as SCBA etc.

3.1.3.4. Be capable of group communication to direct and control work he is responsible for.

3.1.3.5. Ten (10) years' experiences in Oil Spill Response activities / Refinery offsite activities. However only for Kuwaiti nationals minimum 3 year of related experience is required.

3.1.3.6. Maximum age limit 50 years.
