Role Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The main responsibility of this position is to provide on-call support to customers for commissioning, servicing, overhauling, retrofitting, and after-sales support. The role focuses on delivering customer service excellence, strengthening the brand image of our principals, and contributing to increased market share.

Contract : Permanent

Location : Kuwait (On Site)

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Customer Service Excellence :

  • Provide installation assistance and carry out commissioning of products represented by the company.
  • Attend service calls at customer sites, aiming to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure client retention.
  • Deliver value-added services by identifying components that require replacement and suggesting product upgrades or replacements for obsolete items.
  • Keep clients informed about new product offerings during service visits.

Site Surveys :

  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for retrofit jobs.
  • Recommend suitable spare parts and submit accurate technical reports.

    • Revenue Generation :

  • Identify retrofit and service opportunities.
  • Support the department in generating revenue to meet and exceed service budget targets.

    • Reporting :

  • Submit clear and accurate reports upon completion of service jobs and site surveys.
  • Ensure service reports and timesheets are approved to facilitate proper invoicing.
  • Maintain regular updates on retrofit opportunities, forecasts, weekly reports, and future action plans as required by principals.

    • File Maintenance :

  • Keep all service-related documentation, agreements, and maintenance records organized for easy reference and compliance.

    • Data Logging :

  • Maintain orderly records of all relevant data related to commissioned products for future reference.

    • Product Demonstrations :

  • Identify and arrange product demonstrations by principals for engineering consultants, end-users, and contractors, in coordination with the sales team.

    • Team Coordination :

  • Collaborate effectively with other service engineers and share status updates regularly.

    • Independent Working :

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
  • Ensure full and proper utilization of all ISS systems in accordance with standard operating procedures.

    • Who You Are :

  • An engineering background with – years of experience in a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators.
  • Basic working knowledge of field instruments such as level instruments (specifically displacer and guided wave radar), level and interface measurements, and pressure and flow measurement principles.
  • Familiarity with online gas and water analyzers, oil-in-water measurement principles, control valve and safety valve test benches, and gas and fire detection systems.
  • Good understanding of various types of valves, gearboxes, and control valves.
  • Strong coordination skills, a willingness to learn quickly, and the ability to share knowledge.
  • Application-oriented support to the sales team in identifying and offering the right solutions.
  • Proactiveness in exploring new business opportunities by identifying retrofit needs, service expansion, and promoting technology-driven solutions to assist the sales team in driving growth.
  • Must hold a valid Kuwait driving license.
