Individual will be responsible for and possess the desired experience in the installation, testing, and repair of the IGX tactical communication package (TCP). The individual shall be responsible for the O & M of the communications lines, trunking, cabling and switching systems associated with the IGX. The technician shall be responsible for the O & M of systems, modules, cabinets, processors, circuit cards, and power supplies, peripheral and ancillary equipment to include cabling, wiring, plugs and adapters. The technician shall be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, routine and demand maintenance procedures for the REDCOM IGX Switch. The IGX Technician shall be responsible for providing telephone services to all customers serviced by the switch. Program : OMDAC-SWACA

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Education / Certifications : High school diploma required or GED required.
Experience : All Telephone Switch Technician I (IGX) technicians shall have at least five years
experience in telephone systems and have completed a certified course of instruction on the general operations and maintenance of the REDCOM IGX Switch system.
