Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are currently looking for a Consultant Gastroenterologist who will work for a well-known hospital based in Kuwait.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities :

• To perform the professional duties of a gastroenterologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the Credentials Committee.
• To conduct assessment & re-assessment for all patients in the OPD, on admission, and prior to any procedure.
• To perform his duties in the Clinic, evaluating patients with diseases.
• To perform procedures - upper and lower endoscopies, liver biopsies, , esophageal motility studies.
• To provide consultation / referral services to the inpatient services in his area of expertise.
• Provides after working hours on call emergency coverage for emergencies.
• Provides supervision and education to the endoscopy staff, nurses and technicians.
• Participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service ( monthly mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit and chart review).
