Take an active part in creating the IKEA store business plan and use the country business plan, based on Growing IKEA together and IKEA Food Direction and Strategy, as input.
Work with your team to develop and implement a clear IKEA Food action plan which is followed up regularly.
Responsible for implementing the range matrix (global and national) to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity that distinguishes the IKEA store from our competitors on the market.
Co-operate with the Communication & Interior Design (Comm&In) department and the Commercial Activity Leader / Local Marketing by actively contributing to and supporting all marketing and in-store activities. We do this by integrating the Swedish celebrations and yearly focus area into the stores Commercial Calendar, including the activity range and communication packages.
Make the IKEA food range available at the lowest total cost by, for example, driving volume according to commercial priorities.
Ensure proper planning and implementation of range changes in a simple and cost-conscious way.
Work to maximise commerciality to grow sales as well as the conversion rate and increase profitability according to the goals.
Utilise everyday commercial opportunities to attract store visitors and keep the chairs warm.
Ensure we use the IKEA Restaurant & Café to initiate various activities that inspire and surprise our guests through engagement, learning and participation.
Have in-depth knowledge of the competition on the local market allowing to support the IKEA store in being the leader in life at home.
Avoid food waste and shortages.
Secure the store is always in shape as new in terms of conceptual and commercial standards and with the necessary capacity for growth.
Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool for maximising the IKEA stores sales potential.
Qualification
Postgraduate / Degree or three years Diploma in hotel Management or equivalent
Previous experience in similar job role or minimum 4 years experience as Banquet Supervisor with proven track records
HACCP Certification preferable
Integrity and the ability to establish strong work relationships
Good analytical skills and cost consciousness
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent command of English
Competent in problem solving, conflict and crisis management
