Position Summary :

ATIS is seeking a qualified and experienced Elementary Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the American curriculum and a passion for supporting student learning and growth in a multicultural, values-based environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum for students in Grades 15.

Create a safe, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.

Use a variety of instructional strategies and formative assessments to support diverse learners.

Collaborate with grade-level teams and subject specialists to enhance learning outcomes.

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic progress and classroom activities.

Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications and Experience :

Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education or a related subject (required).

Masters Degree in Education (preferred).

35 years of relevant teaching experience in American curriculum schools.

Training and familiarity with the American Education System (essential).

Excellent English communication skills reading, writing, and speaking (essential).

Recognised teaching certification or licensure (preferred).

Salary & Benefits :

Salary :  TAX FREE Generous and negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.

Accommodation :

Free, fully furnished single accommodation with utilities included, or

Housing allowance of KWD 150 / month .

Teachers with families may access a 2-bedroom apartment for KWD 90 / month .

Access to facilities including a gym and swimming pool .

Transportation :

Free two-way school transport for the first 3 months.

Optional continued service for KWD 20 / month thereafter.

Airfare :

Initial joining ticket from home country.

Annual summer return ticket.

Return ticket at the end of the contract.

Medical Insurance :

Government health insurance for the first two years.

Private health insurance from the third year onward.

Tuition Discount :

100% discount on school tuition fees for up to two children (subject to management approval).

Visa Support :

Reimbursement of up to KWD 100 for visa expenses in home country (with receipts).

Working Conditions :

Contract Length : Two years, renewable by mutual agreement.

Working Days : Approximately 177 teaching days per academic year.

Working Hours : Sunday to Thursday, 7 : 10 AM to 2 : 40 PM .
