If you make 12,000 KWD a year living in Kuwait, you will be taxed 1,320 KWD. That means that your net pay will be 10,680 KWD per year, or 890 KWD per month. Your average tax rate is 11.0% and your marginal tax rate is 11.0%. This marginal tax rate means that your immediate additional income will be taxed at this rate. For instance, an increase of 100 KWD in your salary will be taxed 11 KWD, hence, your net pay will only increase by 89 KWD.
Bonus Example
A 1,000 KWD bonus will generate an extra 890 KWD of net incomes. A 5,000 KWD bonus will generate an extra 4,450 KWD of net incomes.
